INDOT Outstanding Asphalt ProducersThere are six companies awarded by INDOT for providing superior materials to build state highways. E&B Paving won the Northwest and Southwest Indiana district INDOT awards. This year’s Outstanding Asphalt Producer Award winners show outstanding corporation with INDOT, underwent audits in 2007 and established a commitment to quality by going above and beyond the minimum requirements of the program.
The Indiana Certified Hot Mix Asphalt program allows producers to take responsibility for all aspects of asphalt production. Certified producers follow a Quality Control Plan and the production, sampling and testing procedures outlined in the plan are carefully monitored by INDOT. The Certified Hot Mix Asphalt program saves the state time and money by reducing the amount of material testing done at project sites while maintaining superior quality control.
