This project started in February of 2006, The urban Section was completed on October 5, 2007, and the Rural section has a completion date of June 28, 2008. There is approximately 24 lane miles of 11" concrete pavement or 169,406 sys at a cost of $5,051,686. This project also had 592,095 cyds of borrow and 100,969 cyds of common excavation. 146th Street and Boden Road
The new 146th street and south portion of Boden road that ties into 146th street complete a corridor from SR 37 to I-69. A new four lane highway with a median, turn lanes, median crossings, street approaches, driveways, curb and gutter, and intersection lighting. With Approximately 9 paving lane miles, there was approximately 65,196.61 sys of QA/QC 12" Concrete pavement placed and approximataely 16,578' of integral curb. I-70 (Super 70) INDOT Contracts R-28444 and R-2869
These two projects were bid in August of 2006 at a cost of $175,000,000.00 with a total concrete pavement cost of $25,781,107, With approximately 72 paving lane miles for both projects. The west contract R-28444 consisted of 250,571 sys of 16" concrete pavement, and the east contract R-28690 consisted of 314,400 sys of 16" concrete pavement, for a total of 564,971 sys of QA/QC concrete. The projects were split into two phases the westbound lanes in phase 1, and the eastbound lanes in phase 2. Ronald Reagan Parkway replaces old Six Points Road from Stafford Road to north of US 40. A new four lane highway with turn lanes, median crossings, driveways, curb and gutter, intersection lighting, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer. This project had approximately 75,000.00 m3 of common excavation and borrow combined.
